The Arabesque motif features intricate tooling,
flowing lines, and elaborate, multihued inlays and onlays. All of which
can be used to create a rich looking deluxe leather binding.

Art
Déco bindings utilize gold lines, and multihued geometric
inlays & onlays to produce the characteristic "streamlined"
effect..we recreate these designs on the covers of books of the period
and also in the embellishment of our deluxe leather albums. |
The
Arts & Crafts school of design developed in England during the
19th century. Its chief practitioner, William Morris, advocated the
integration of beauty with the accessories of daily life as a response
to the rapid rise of industrialization. |

Jean Grolier de Servières, vicomte
d'Aguisy (1479-1565) was the noted French bibliophile. His collection
